For regular UPI the limit is usually up to one lakh rupees per transaction. Higher limits apply for some categories such as capital markets insurance and IPO where NPCI allows larger caps. NPCI has also announced higher daily limits for a few categories this year. Exact limits depend on the bank and the use case.

Your customer can tap the payment inside their UPI app and raise a complaint. It moves through the app provider to the bank and then through the NPCI flow. Each complaint gets a reference number and the status is tracked inside the app.
